The Brand Film, titled Original Is Never Finished | 2018, united a cast of some of the world’s most influential creative talents spanning the worlds of music, style, and sport, including Dua Lipa, Miles Silvas, Playboi Carti, Lu Han, A$AP Ferg, Nick Young, Kaytranada, Florencia Galarza, Marcelo Vieira and Adrianne Ho.
adidas Originals Philippines brought together local Creators at The Ruins at Poblacion to celebrate individuality and evolution in style, music, and sports.
Fusion of local street fashion Creators were featured through a live photo shoot powered by Purveyr Magazine. Progressive local brands PROUDRACE, Randolf, Salad Day, REVERE, and BASTARD were brought together by adidas Originals to put together a unique ensemble to pair with the latest adidas Prophere footwear. Young Creators Hannah Pangilinan, Issa Pressman, Kerwin King, Janina Vela, and Jerrick Ahanmisi presented the ingenious collaborations.
Young visionaries in the music scene Leanne and Naara, LustBass, Crwn, Kiana Valenciano, Curtismith, and The Ransom Collective exhibited their own take on the local music evolution, giving everyone unique performances the whole evening. Curtismith and Crwn also launched an original track which was performed alongside a video montage crafted with SCOUT Magazine. This montage highlighted local adidas Basketball Creators and their creativity, which helps elevate their game on and off the court.
Hosted by Marga on the Mic and Joyce Pring, these Creators led the one-day event— transforming a space into one great progressive loop, sharing their iterations and creativity, and aiming to inspire the next generation.
