More than 400 children, along with parents and caregivers from the Payatas community in Quezon City, flocked to SM Cinema’s free screening of the much-anticipated live action movie “The Lion King,” held at SM City North EDSA recently.

During the film, kids and kids-at-heart couldn’t help but be amazed by the fascinating effects, characters, and of course, the phenomenal songs from the movie. This once in a lifetime opportunity for some of the underprivileged children in the community, hopes to convey the message that SM is a place for all.

To claim the goodies, simply pay for your tickets by tapping your contactless Visa credit card on the POS Terminal at the ticket booth, collect the charge slip from the cashier and present it, together with your card, to the Snack Time Counter. Make sure to tap your card when you make the payment. Swiping or dipping it into the terminal will disqualify you from the promotion.

Family Adventure film "Pudsey the movie" opens August 27 in SM Cinemas

Following his winning performance in Britain’s Got Talent last 2012, the charming Pudsey now stars in his own movie about a city stray dog who relocates to the countryside with his new loving family.

Entitled, “Pudsey: The Movie,” it follows the titular dog and his siblings Molly (Izzy Meikle-Smith), George (Spike White) and Tommy (Malachy Knights) as they move to the village of Chuffington-on-Sea with their mother Gail (Hynes).

Japanese superstars Hiro Mizushima and Ayame Gouriki star as the ideal master-servant duo in "Black Butler" directed by  Kentaro Otani and Keiichi Sato based on the phenomenal manga series of the same title ("Kuroshitsuji") illustrated and written by Yana Toboso.

The live-action movie "Black Butler" stars Hiro Mizushima in the titular role, Sebastian, the butler from hell.   Sebastian possesses a wealth of knowledge, unbelievable skills, perfect looks and grace, he is a butler without flaws.  If one were to find any negative thins about him, it would be his troubling personality.

“Black Butler” Opens Exclusive in SM Cinemas - July 23

Serving cinemas soon, “Black Butler” is based on the Manga series known as “Kuroshitsuji" by Yana Toboso that was first published September 2006 by Monthly GFantasy.  Starring Hiro Mizushima in the titular role, Black Butler Sebastian with Ayame Gouriki as Shiori  along with Mizuki Yamamoto, Yuka, Yuu Shirota and Takuro Ohno, the movie is set in the year 2020, Shiori Genpo (Ayame Gouriki) runs the large corporation Funtom while  Shiori is also a descendant of the prestigious noble family Phantomhive of England. As a descendant of the noble family Phantomhive, Shiori solves difficult cases which are ordered by the queen.

In order to take revenge, Shiori makes a deal with Butler Sebastian (Mizushima). Their deal involves Butler Sebastian protecting Ciel until her revenge is fulfilled and then Sebastian will consume Shiori's spirit.
