Based on an original story by Ben Stassen and Domonic Paris,  “Sammy 2: Escape from Paradise” sees Sammy and Rey, leatherback turtles and friends forever, enjoying the water and sand, shepherding new hatchlings Ricky and Ella out to sea. Suddenly, a poacher swoops in and ships them off to be part of a spectacular aquarium show for tourists in Dubai. Trapped in The Tank, an underwater aquarium, they must hatch a plan to escape and reunite with their grandkids, Ricky and Ella, and protect them from the dangers of the ocean.  But they’ll have to get past Big D and his dopey thugs first.   With the help of some unlikely friends, Sammy and Ray fin that when you work together, anything is possible!

Unprecedented action unveils in martial arts film “DIE FIGHTING”


Independent filmmaker Fabien Garcia, a martial arts enthusiast who’s been training in Judo since he was six helms and stars in the action movie to beat in “Die Fighting.”
 

In “Die Fighting,” a team of Shaolin-trained kung fu actors are about to make their big break in Hollywood when a shady director forces them through a gauntlet in Los Angeles, forcing them to act and react in a brutal action reality movie, filming their every move as they are pitted against a gallery of thugs.  To make their way out of the movie and keep their families alive, they must face every death-defying challenge the director throws at them or be killed in the filming process.

Enthralling Animation Work in "THE HOUSE OF MAGIC"‏


“The House of Magic,” a Belgian-French-American computer-animated fantasy-comedy film, produced by avant-garde production Anton Capital Entertainment and directed by Ben Stassen and Jeremy Degruson, focuses on an abandoned young cat named Thunder who seeks shelter in the home of an old, retired magician with his automatons and gizmos.

Seeking shelter from a storm, abandoned young cat Thunder sneaks into a mysterious mansion owned by retired magician Lawrence, aka “The Illustrious Lorenzo”.  Lawrence shares his fairy-tale world with many animals and a dazzling array of automatons and gizmos capable of whipping up breakfast while rolling out a spectacular song-and-dance routine.   He soon makes Thunder feel welcome, but Jack the rabbit and Maggie the mouse start plotting to get him kicked out. When Lawrence ends up in the hospital, his nephew tries to trick him into selling the house. But its ragtag inhabitants develop a spooky strategy to defend their home. They turn their house into a haunted mansion, using Thunder as their secret weapon.

Currently in cinemas, “A Good Man” is an exciting Steven Seagal show of non-stop, heart-racing action. A Good Man follows Alexander (Steven Seagal) a retired Special Forces agent torn by a tragic past, as he tries to live a low-key life out of trouble. But trouble will find him when his neighbors Lena (Iulia Verdes) and Mya (Sofia Nicolaescu) are kidnapped and held  ransom by Strip club owner Li Wei (Elias Ferkin) who works for the mysterious Mr. Chen until their brother Saha (Victor Webster) pays it off. Victor Webster, known for his starring recurring role in the television series “Continuum” is featured alongside Steven Seagal in “A Good Man” movie.


Steven Seagal plays Alexander Coates in “A Good Man” where he meets Sasha Ivanov (played by Webster) two years after his voluntary recluse from his life as a Special Forces agent.  Sasha works as an enforcer for a Russian mobster known as Vladimir who is forced to pay off a debt from his father that has been passed down to his family.  When low level gangsters start turning up dead and money begins to disappear, Sasha  suspects that he is being set up to take the fall. And when his sisters Mya and Lena are kidnapped by Vladimir, Sasha turns to the only man who can help – Alexander Coates.

Hollywood's unsettling side in "The Canyons"


“The Canyons” starring Lindsay Lohan is a contemporary thriller written by Bret Easton Ellis (“Less Than Zero,” “American Psycho”) directed by Paul Schrader (“Taxi Driver,” “Raging Bull,” “Affliction,” “Auto-Focus”)and producer Braxton Pope,  “The Canyons” documents five twenty-something's quest for power, love, sex and success set in the year 2012 in Hollywood.  The filmmakers partly financing the film themselves through Pope’s new company Sodium Fox in order to maintain complete creative control of the distinct source material.  According to Schrader, “We all experienced the frustrations of financing and institutional censorship. But now, with advances in digital photography and distribution, we can tell a story in the manner we choose. Movies are changing and we’re changing with it.”

Steven Seagal returns to action in "A Good Man"

Known worldwide for his adept skills in fighting under cool demeanor, Steven Segal, whose action blockbuster movies such as “Above The Law” and “Under Siege” solidified his status as action icon is back in the upcoming movie “A Good Man.”
Steven Seagal plays Alexander Coates in “A Good Man,” a special forces operator who becomes haunted by his past when a little girl dies in his arms on a mission in Dagestan. Looking for redemption, Alexander goes off grid.
Two years later (somewhere in Eastern Europe) Alexander meets Sasha Ivanov working as an enforcer for a Russian mobster named Vladimir – forced to pay off a debt from his father and passed down to his family. When low level gangsters start turning up dead and money begins to disappear, Sasha suspects that he is being set up to take the fall. And when his sisters Mya and Lena are kidnapped by Vladimir, Sasha turns to  the only man who can help – Alexander Coates. 
Sasha and Alexander take on Vladimir’s men as well as the mysterious Mr. Chen to rescue Sasha’s sisters. Alexander is fighting to do what is right while Sasha is fighting for the most important thing in his life – his family. Action and mayhem ensue as the body count rises with Alexander returning to what he does best – killing in the name of what’s right.

“A Good Man” opens August 20 in cinemas nationwide from Crystalsky Multimedia.

Amanda Adrienne makes her feature film debut in “Savaged” where she takes on the role of Zoe,  a deaf girl is brutalized by a murderous gang who are then hunted by her when the bloodthirsty spirit of an Apache warrior inhabits her lifeless body.

Her character Zoe tells her mother that she wants to move in with her long distance boyfriend, her mother is reluctant to let her drive by herself since her daughter is deaf and unable to call for assistance. Despite her reservations, Zoe's mother allows her to go alone, which proves to have disastrous consequences when Zoe is abducted, brutally raped by several rednecks and left for dead when a Native American rescues her.  Now empowered with mystical spirits, Zoe returns for violent revenge on her attackers.

Notorious writer Bret Easton Ellis (“American Psycho”) and acclaimed director Paul Schrader (writer of “Taxi Driver” and director of “American Gigolo”) join forces for this explicitly erotic thriller about youth, glamour, sex and surveillance. Manipulative and scheming young movie producer Christian (adult film star James Deen) makes films to keep his trust fund intact, while his actress girlfriend and bored plaything, Tara (Lindsay Lohan), hides a passionate affair with an actor from her past. When Christian becomes aware of Tara's infidelity, the young Angelenos are thrust into a violent, sexually-charged tour through the dark side of human nature.
“The Canyons” is a contemporary LA noir film about the dangers of sexual obsession and ambition, both personally and professionally.  One chance encounter among a group of people in their twenties sets in motion a series of events, resulting in deceit, paranoia, cruel mind games and violence.

DANIELLE CHUCHRAN BACK IN FIGHTING FORM IN "SURVIVOR"


Danielle Chuchran, an up and rising action heroine who recently starred in  "Saga: Curse of the Shadow," "Minor Details" and "Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat" shows her action skills anew in "Survivor" along with favorite sci-fi actor Kevin Sorbo. 
Produced by Arrowstorm Entertainment, known as a world leader in fantasy films, the movie finds Kate (Chuchran) as one of the last living humans who landed on an alien planet.  But when Kate's crewmates are captured by flesh-eating creatures, she must join forces with the planet's mysterious masked inhabitants before what's left of humanity is destroyed.
