Iconic star John Travolta in action thriller “LIFE ON THE LINE”


John Travolta, known for blockbuster classic movies such as “Grease,” “Pulp Fiction” and “Face/Off” stars in a new riveting action thriller, “Life on the Line.”

As Beau Ginner (Travolta), his “sidekick” Pok’ Chop and his crew of eccentric Lineman are scrambling to upgrade the electrical grid in their Texas county on the tight schedule required by their company’s new contract. They work hundreds of feet in the air, on wires carrying as much as 500,000 volts of electricity, with death only inches away.

Daniel Radcliffe goes undercover cop in “IMPERIUM”


Daniel Radcliffe, who rocketed to worldwide stardom in the phenomenal “Harry Potter” films, stars anew in the intense action thriller “Imperium.”   Inspired by real events, the movie is directed by Daniel Ragussis and also stars Toni Collette, Tracy Letts, Devin Druid, Pawel Szajda with Nestor Carbonell and Sam Trammell.
 

In “Imperium,” Radcliffe takes on the role of Nate Foster, a young, idealistic FBI agent who goes undercover to take down a radical right-wing terrorist group. The bright up-and-coming analyst must confront the challenge of sticking to a new identity while maintaining his real principles as he navigates the dangerous underworld of white supremacy.
 

Legacy of fear reborn in latest “BLAIR WITCH” movie


Back in 1999, “The Blair Witch Project” became a global phenomenon and left a haunting fear of being alone in the woods.  The nearly no-budget film grossed millions and set the gold standard for found footage movies, spawning a new generation of horror fans.
 

“Elly Kedward, the woman accused of witchcraft and left to die in the Maryland woods in 1785, is the first recorded story of the Blair Witch legend,” says executive producer Gregg Hale.  “But the evil in those woods is much, much older than that.”  For several years, Lionsgate had been searching for the right concept to reboot Blair Witch, as well as filmmakers who could satisfy the fans of the first film and reach a new generation of moviegoers.

Pinoy/Cebu-born Galen Tan Chu is co-director in Blue Sky's “ICE AGE: COLLISION COURSE”


Cebu-born Galen Tan Chu helms the latest instalment of the global “Ice Age” hit franchise - “Ice Age: Collision Course” as co-director with acclaimed filmmaker Michael Thurmeier.
 

Galen Tan Chu spent his early (11) years in the Philippines before migrating to the US where he studied illustration and animation at Pratt Institute.  Chu is a true veteran of the “Ice Age” franchise and Blue Sky Studios, having started his career at Blue Sky Studios as an animator on “Ice Age” (2002).  He then became a lead animator on Blue Sky's second animated feature “Robots” (2005).   On “Ice Age: The Meltdown” (2006), he was promoted to supervising animator and then served as supervising animator on “Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who!” (2008), “Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs” (2009), “Rio” (2011) and “Epic” (2013).   He also directed the direct-to-DVD short “Surviving Sid” (2008).

Father and daughter team up for multi-million life insurance heist in “TERM LIFE”


Vince Vaughn (“The Internship”) and Hailee Steinfeld (“Pitch Perfect 2”) play father and daughter who are out of options and out of time in the crime thriller “Term Life.” 


Directed by Peter Billingsley (who served as executive producer of Marvel’s “Iron Man”), “Term Life” is based on the graphic novel by A.J. Lieberman and Nick Thornborrow about an unscrupulous criminal Nick Barrow (Vaughn) who takes out a million dollar life insurance policy  making his daughter Cate (Steinfeld), his sole beneficiary.   With the underworld organization trailing his every step to prevent him from receiving his payout, he must outwit them and protect his daughter at all times until the policy takes effect.
