James Wan Expands “The Conjuring” Universe With “Annabelle: Creation”

Regarded as one of the most creative filmmakers working today, James Wan expands “The Conjuring" Universe with the second chapter in the Annabelle series New Line Cinema's "Annabelle: Creation" (in Philippine theaters August 23, 2017).

Produced by Wan and directed by David F. Sandberg (“Lights Out”), “Annabelle: Creation” is the follow up to 2014’s hugely successful “Annabelle.” In the new film, several years after the tragic death of their little girl, a doll maker and his wife welcome a nun and six girls from a shuttered orphanage into their home. They soon become the target of the doll maker’s possessed creation, Annabelle.

Horror Fan-Favorite James Wan To Produce New Line’s “The Nun”

Filmmaker James Wan, director of the record-setting horror hits “The Conjuring” and “The Conjuring 2,” explores another dark corner of that universe with New Line Cinema’s “The Nun.”

Helmed by award-winning director Corin Hardy (“The Hallow”), the new fright-fest has begun production on location in Romania. It will be produced by Wan through his Atomic Monster production company, along with Peter Safran, who has produced all of the films in “The Conjuring” franchise. “The Nun” is set for release on July 13, 2018.

James Wan, considered one of today’ most-sought horror filmmaker, who frightened the movie going public with his works in “The Conjuring,” “Saw” and “Insidious” produces “Haunted” and directed by Will Canon who used multiple shooting styles and partly shot via found footage.

Ghost hunters slaughtered in “HAUNTED”

The James Wan produced horror “Haunted” (also known as “Demonic”) brings a detective (Frank Grillo) and a psychologist (Maria Bello) together to investigate the slaughter of five amateur ghost hunters in a house that is said to be haunted.
