Ideal husband turned prime suspect in “A KIND OF MURDER”

A seemingly ideal marriage ends up in mayhem in the chilling thriller “A Kind of Murder”.   Set in 1960's New York, the movie is based on Patricia Highsmith's novel, “The Blunderer” adapted to movie as “A Kind of Murder” starring Patrick Wilson (Conjuring, Insidious), Jessica Biel (Total Recall) and Haley Bennett (The Girl on the Train).

Patrick Wilson, known for the phenomenal and hair-raising “The Conjuring” movies stars anew in the psychological stylish thriller “A Kind of Murder” with Jessica Biel, Haley Bennett and Vincent Kartheiser.

Directed by Andy Goddard, “A Kind of Murder” is based on Patricia Highsmith’s novel “The Blunderer,” set in New York City and trails Walter Stackhouse (Wilson), a rich, successful architect and unhappily married to the beautiful but damaged Clara (Biel).  To take his mind off from Clara, Walter fully embraces his favorite hobby of writing crime stories. His desire to be free of her feeds his obsession with a man suspected of brutally murdering his own wife while lusting after another woman, Ellie (Bennett, “Girl on the Train”).

               

Nailing it in the romantic comedy “ACCIDENTAL LOVE”

“Accidental Love” is a wacky comedy with an underlying theme of health care, starring Jessica Biel, Jake Gyllenhall, James Marsden, Catherine Keener, Kirstie Alley, Tracy Morgan and Malinda Williams.
 
Alice Eckle (Biel), a somewhat naïve roller-skating waitress in a small Indiana town, is about to get engaged to her trooper boyfriend, Scott (Marsden). At the fancy Gondola restaurant when Alice has an engagement ring on her finger, a clumsy workman accidentally shoots her in the head with a nail from his nail gun.
