JADE drops debut solo single “Angel of My Dreams”

JADE, a.k.a. Jade Thirlwall of multi-platinum selling, BRIT Award winning pop phenomenon Little Mix, today releases her highly anticipated debut solo single, “Angel of My Dreams.”

JADE co-wrote 'Angel of My Dreams' in LA alongside Steph Jones (Sabrina Carpenter's Espresso), Pablo Bowman (Calvin Harris' Miracle) and producer Mike Sabath (RAYE). The track is a frenetically shapeshifting, gloriously OTT banger that explores her love/hate relationship with a pop industry she's been at the heart of since 2011.

“I didn't want to do a safe first single, that was really important to me,” JADE states. “I'm setting the tone of who I am as an artist on my own. I want people to hear it and be like 'what the fuck is that song?'. My worst nightmare is for someone to hear my song and go 'that's nice'.” 

FEU launches new healthcare programs to meet growing demand

Far Eastern University (FEU) is expanding its healthcare programs to address the growing demand for healthcare professionals in the Philippines. Starting this academic year 2024-2025, FEU Manila will offer a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, while FEU Cavite will introduce a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

According to the Department of Health, the Philippines currently lacks around 190,000 healthcare professionals.

“Addressing the gaps in our healthcare industry requires the collaboration of many relevant stakeholders. FEU wants to do its part by equipping more future healthcare professionals with practical skills and global perspectives that will enable them to address various healthcare challenges effectively,” says Moira Uy, Dean of Nursing at FEU’s Institute of Health Sciences and Nursing.

Qualifiers for TMP’s national sim racing championship happening July 26 to August 3

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has announced the start of registrations for its premier sim racing competition, the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Gran Turismo Cup (TGR GT Cup).

The TGR GT Cup gathers sim racing enthusiasts from all over the Philippines to determine the best sim racers in the country. Cash prizes, original GR merchandise, Autocross seats and Asia Finals seats are all up for grabs for the winners!

On its 5^th season, the TGR GT Cup is introducing a new competition format. The Qualifiers will be a time-attack challenge in which the 40 fastest players will advance to the Quarterfinals. This will take place from July 26 to August 3.
