Millennial Resorts Promote Sports Tourism in Calatagan South Beach with the Hosting of UAAP 3x3 Basketball

MRC recently hosted the first official 3x3 men’s and women’s basketball competition of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) at Calatagan South Beach (CaSoBe).

Apart from temporarily setting up an international standard 3x3 hardcourt, the newly constructed and permanent event space called Canopy served as the venue of the three-day intense games that resulted in National University (NU) capturing the women’s title and the University of Santo Thomas, the men’s championship.

The EDGE Certification was awarded by Philippine Green Building Initiative, Inc. (PGBI) which recognized Crusoe Cabins for its eco-efficient design that result in reduction of 34% in energy, 57% in water and 65% in embodied energy in materials compared to local base case.
