Landco Pacific Corporation’s Resort Estates Club Laiya Wins the Gold Award at the 2024 FIABCI Philippines Property and Real Estate Excellence Awards

Club Laiya, Landco Pacific Corporation’s 23-hectare beachfront Resort Estates at Laiya, San Juan, Batangas, attained the Gold Award for Outstanding Development in Luzon – Masterplan in the 2024 Property and Real Estate Excellence Awards organized by the Philippine chapter of the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI - Fédération Internationale des Administrateurs de Bien-Conselis Immobiliers), considered as the “Oscars of Real Estate,” which recognizes properties that best embody excellence in all real estate disciplines.


The FIABCI Awards in the country cites projects that best embody excellence and best practices in architecture and design, development and construction, community benefits, environmental impact and financial and marketing success. Projects are evaluated based on stringent criteria, including environmental sustainability, community benefits, and innovative concept and design.

Landco Receives the Prestigious 10th International Finance Award

BeachTowns Club Laiya and CaSoBe were acclaimed as the Best Luxury Leisure Concept in the Philippines

Landco Pacific Corporation achieved another distinction with the 2022 International Finance Award (IFA) for Best Luxury Leisure Concept in the Philippines: Beachtowns Club Laiya and CaSoBe (Calatagan South Beach).  Landco President and CEO Erickson Y. Manzano and Vice President for Sales and Marketing Gerard Penaflor received the IFA during a recent ceremony and gala night at Jumeirah Emirates Tower in Dubai.

The annual IFA recognizes corporate excellence and businesses that make a difference all over the world. Its diverse award categories include banking, brokerage, financial, insurance, leadership, technology, telecom, utility, transportation, healthcare, and real estate. In IFA’s real estate category, excellence and innovation in residential and commercial property space in emerging markets are recognized. IFA cited Landco for its BeachTowns’ outstanding quality of real estate development, service standards, and sustainability.

Landco hosts UAAP Season 84’s 3x3 Basketball Tournament in CaSoBe

Millennial Resorts, Landco’s hospitality arm will host University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 84’s 3x3 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament at CaSoBe in Calatagan, Batangas from June 1-3, 2022.


“Landco team is delighted to welcome participants of the UAAP 3x3 basketball tournament to our BeachTowns in Batangas. It will be an amazing experience for everyone to capture the captivating sunset by the shores of CaSoBe after each day’s rigorous competition,” said Gerard Penaflor, Vice President for Marketing, Landco Pacific Corporation.


Millennial Resorts’ newest active sports feature in CaSoBe -- 3x3 FIBA basketball court will be the venue of the highly anticipated intercollegiate sports event after a two-year hiatus in 2020-2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The eight participating universities in the UAAP 3x3 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament include Adamson University, Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University, Far Eastern University, National University, University of the East, University of the Philippines Diliman, and the University of Santo Tomas.

Landco Supports the Sailing Community of Punta Fuego

Apart from providing an exclusive beach respite for Manila’s affluent, Landco’s development in Punta Fuego in Nasugbu, Batangas has also been anchored on serving the sailing and yachting lifestyle of its residents.


Bouncing back after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the highly-anticipated 19th Club Punta Fuego (CPF) Regatta was recently held as one of the major sailing events in the Philippines. The CPF Regatta brought together not only the sailing enthusiasts and sailor members of Punta Fuego Yacht Club (PFYC) but also select members of the Philippine Inter-Island Sailing Foundation (PHINSAF) from all over the country.    


Participants joined the exuberant yet highly competitive yacht race and winners were recognized in three categories: IRC Racing Class, Cruising Class and Ocean Multihull.

CaSoBe and Millennial Resorts Hosted the Inaugural MVP LANDCO Golf Cup

CaSoBe (Calatagan South Beach) and Millennial Resorts recently hosted the inaugural MVP Landco Golf Cup. The inter-company golf tournament provided an opportunity among select executives of Metro Pacific Investments Corporation, various companies under the MVP Group and corporate partners to team up, meet face-to-face, have fun and build camaraderie in a friendly golf tournament at the Calatagan Golf Club.

It was also the perfect avenue for MVP executives to experience the ultimate in resort living and explore the 15-hectare CaSoBe, one of Landco’s latest Leisure Tourism Estates; and enjoy the facilities of Millennial Resorts on property.

MVP executives and their families were billeted at Crusoe Cabins, the first resort in the country that received the prestigious EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies)-Certification for its eco-efficient design. After the golf tournament, sunset cocktails and a fellowship night ensued by the white sand beach of CaSoBe.

Landco Boosts Support to Fisherfolks in Batangas

Fisherfolks gain access road to Calatagan seas through a portion of the land of CaSoBe

Landco, known for pioneering landscapes for more than 30 years and for its strong thrust on sustainability, allotted a portion of the BeachTowns CaSoBe (Calatagan South Beach) in Batangas to provide a safe, convenient and round the clock access road for fisherfolks to easily reach the Calatagan seas from the public road and vice versa.

“Landco works closely with the community, the local government of Calatagan, Batangas and our landowners for an inclusive socio-economic development of different sectors in the vicinity of our BeachTowns developments, particularly the fisherfolks. Ensuring their source of livelihood and stimulating the growth of their micro enterprise are our prime concerns. Our team undertakes measures for community involvement because it’s the right thing to do and sustainability is deeply rooted in Landco’s DNA,” said Erickson Y. Complementing this support for fisherfolks, Landco provides jobs to the local community: 69 out of the 104 or 66% of Millennial Resorts staff are residents of Calatagan.

Millennial Resorts Achieve the First and Prestigious EDGE Certification for Resort Hospitality in the Philippines

Edge-certified Millennial Resorts' Crusoe Cabins at CaSoBe

Millennial Resorts achieved the very first EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies) Certification for a resort hospitality project in the country, with its Crusoe Cabins at CaSoBe in Calatagan, Batangas. The EDGE Certification was awarded by Philippine Green Building Initiative, Inc. (PGBI) which recognized Crusoe Cabins for its eco-efficient design that result in reduction of 34% in energy, 57% in water and 65% in embodied energy in materials compared to local base case.

Landco Led the Mangrove Restoration in Laiya, Batangas

In line with its commitment to environmental and community sustainability, upscale real estate developer Landco Pacific Corporation together with Aplaya Laiya Corporation initiated the mangrove reforestation at an estuary in Laiya, San Juan, Batangas through a recent series of planting of about 3,000 saplings.

The project was held in collaboration with Laiya’s local community, barangay and municipal officials, representatives from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and volunteers from Landco executives and staff.

The mangrove tree planting is part of the coastal conservation of Landco to benefit the communities near and around its premium leisure developments in Laiya – Playa Laiya, the master-planned exclusive seaside residential community and Club Laiya, Landco’s latest Leisure Tourism Estates.
