CaSoBe, a Dreamy BeachTown for Entrepreneurs Where Working from Anywhere Means Working from Paradise

The freedom to take one’s business wherever one goes is a perk of entrepreneurial life. The pandemic has even fast-tracked the new norm to take the office wherever one opts to park his laptop. If working from anywhere has become the lifestyle of choice of entrepreneurs, where else can they work other than the seaside paradise of CaSoBe (Calatagan South Beach), one of Landco’s latest BeachTowns in Batangas.

Luckily for entrepreneurs, the 15-hectare CaSoBe progresses towards completion. The master-planned development offers mix-use residential and commercial lots situated in the rising business hub and beach tourist destination. The development features wide open spaces and beautiful promenades, with parks and retail landscapes.

Millennial Resorts Promote Sports Tourism in Calatagan South Beach with the Hosting of UAAP 3x3 Basketball

More than creating unconventional experiences for leisure travelers, Millennial Resorts Corporation (MRC), Landco’s hospitality arm in its BeachTowns, has established itself as a premier sports tourism advocate. MRC recently hosted the first official 3x3 men’s and women’s basketball competition of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) at Calatagan South Beach (CaSoBe).

Apart from temporarily setting up an international standard 3x3 hardcourt, the newly constructed and permanent event space called Canopy served as the venue of the three-day intense games that resulted in National University (NU) capturing the women’s title and the University of Santo Thomas, the men’s championship.

CaSoBe and Millennial Resorts Hosted the Inaugural MVP LANDCO Golf Cup

CaSoBe (Calatagan South Beach) and Millennial Resorts recently hosted the inaugural MVP Landco Golf Cup. The inter-company golf tournament provided an opportunity among select executives of Metro Pacific Investments Corporation, various companies under the MVP Group and corporate partners to team up, meet face-to-face, have fun and build camaraderie in a friendly golf tournament at the Calatagan Golf Club.

It was also the perfect avenue for MVP executives to experience the ultimate in resort living and explore the 15-hectare CaSoBe, one of Landco’s latest Leisure Tourism Estates; and enjoy the facilities of Millennial Resorts on property.

MVP executives and their families were billeted at Crusoe Cabins, the first resort in the country that received the prestigious EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies)-Certification for its eco-efficient design. After the golf tournament, sunset cocktails and a fellowship night ensued by the white sand beach of CaSoBe.

Landco Boosts Support to Fisherfolks in Batangas

Fisherfolks gain access road to Calatagan seas through a portion of the land of CaSoBe

Landco, known for pioneering landscapes for more than 30 years and for its strong thrust on sustainability, allotted a portion of the BeachTowns CaSoBe (Calatagan South Beach) in Batangas to provide a safe, convenient and round the clock access road for fisherfolks to easily reach the Calatagan seas from the public road and vice versa.

“Landco works closely with the community, the local government of Calatagan, Batangas and our landowners for an inclusive socio-economic development of different sectors in the vicinity of our BeachTowns developments, particularly the fisherfolks. Ensuring their source of livelihood and stimulating the growth of their micro enterprise are our prime concerns. Our team undertakes measures for community involvement because it’s the right thing to do and sustainability is deeply rooted in Landco’s DNA,” said Erickson Y. Manzano, President and CEO, Landco Pacific Corporation.

Complementing this support for fisherfolks, Landco provides jobs to the local community: 69 out of the 104 or 66% of Millennial Resorts staff are residents of Calatagan.
