Nestled above the subway station Syeongsong, location of their World trade center/Expo. It is definitely one of the busiest spots in Seoul, with shops open until 10:30 PM. And restaurants serving to the wee hours of the morning. This is not called the biggest mall in Korea by any chance. This is definitely the biggest, with tons of restaurants that if you tried one restaurant each day, you will be able to try all of them in half a year, yes that is how many they were, I did not even count the kiosks and fastfood outlets that were there.

Day 3 - Korea lunch continues
We got US Rib-eye steak, any angle you look at it, just makes you want to say can we get another one? The meat was so tender and succulent, tasty and juicy. ARRRGGHHHH really wished we ordered 2, we were both craving for more after we had finished it. The other buffet dishes were nice, but since it was a buffet, it was not worthy of any shots at all. But the deserts bar was quite cool.

Day 3 - Korea rained on us
It was day 3 in Seoul, Korea. We had planned to go to the famous Everland or Lotteworld or both, depending on the time we had alloted. But as I got up from the bed to look at the morning Seoul skyline. This was what I saw.
My whole world crumbled, and all I can say was, why did you rain on us. And it didn't show any signs of stopping, our itinerary for this day was ruined. I did not know how to explain to my wife, that we were gonna be stuck here until lunch, well hoping that the rains would die down. Definitely, today is a day wasted, but I guess we have to make the most it. We decided to have our lunch at the restaurant of the hotel, as I have noticed that they were having a promo, and at the same time, we had an Accor membership card which gave us the buy 1-free 1 buffet.
The food at the buffet area was really tempting so we took the buffet.
Salads Galore, started with Cajun chicken Salad
the classic Caesar Salad
Fish fillet salad
Seafood squid salad

Korea - Day 2 - Nami Island tour
Good day everyone. After a long night yesterday, since I was not able to sleep because I keep getting nose clogged because of the smell of the room, as you may have recalled we were staying in a smoking room because the hotel was also full. First thing in the morning, when we woke up around 9 AM, we called reception to remind them of the change of room. And finally at 10 AM, we were transferred to a non-smoking room.
Thank you Ibis Ambassador Hotel.
After this we decided to go on with our day trip to Nami Island. Where and why Nami Island? Nami Island is the island where almost the whole "Winter Sonata" series was filmed. In case you are not a Korean series fanatic, same goes for me. It was the best selling series in Korea of all time. They loved the series and the characters involved, and it was an Asia-wide phenomenon, not sure about the world though. To the extent that they had to re-film the ending of the series just to satisfy the viewers and prevent hysteria from happening, I mean really hysteria when the original ending would have aired.
