In its continued effort to promote road and vehicle safety in the Philippines, leading automotive solutions provider Bosch inks partnership with on-demand logistics company Lalamove, working together in ensuring the safety of the latter’s fleet of delivery service vehicles. Under the agreement, Bosch brings its quality automotive products to Lalamove’s nationwide network of partner drivers through exclusive deals and special rates on its aftermarket offerings for two- and four-wheeled vehicles, including motorcycles, multi-purpose vehicles, and light trucks.

Inspired by the Filipino bayanihan spirit, CIS Bayad Center, Inc. spearheaded a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative called “BAYADnihan, Tulong-tulong para sa Bayan”, to benefit hundreds of vulnerable individuals and families who continue to experience hardships amid on-going quarantine restrictions in this time of COVID-19.
With the said initiative, the simple act of settling bills was turned into an opportunity to help Filipinos in need as a portion of customer payments made at any Bayad Center branch or using the mobile app from March 1 to April 30, 2020 were donated to its CSR partner, One Meralco Foundation. Bayad Center employees also pledged a part of their salaries to further the cause.

Participants from across the country took on challenges over a range of distances and on a variety of wheels, including bicycles, tandems, Brompton bikes, roller skates, scooters and skateboards.
The virtual event was originally planned for just this weekend (August 15-16), the dates on which this year’s Prudential RideLondon was scheduled to be held on the streets of London and Surrey before being cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
