100 years of innovation: Whirlpool celebrates a legacy of quality home appliances
One of the most significant milestones for Whirlpool, the country’s leading manufacturer and marketer of quality home appliances, came when it recently celebrated its 100th year anniversary.
Hosted by Ms. Tessa Prieto-Valdez, a night of thanksgiving and celebration was recently held at the grand ballroom of Edsa Shangri-La Hotel Manila wherein Whirlpool took the opportunity to thank and give back to the people who have supported and trusted the brand for the past 100 years.
“Our aim is to bring Whirlpool to every home not only here in the Philippines but also to the whole world. We want to bring ease and comfort to every family everywhere through our products,” said Blanco Wong, managing director of Whirlpool Southeast Asia, during the festivities.
Even before coming to the Philippines in 1992, Whirlpool has become among the very few brands Filipinos trust. It has been Whirlpool’s passion to make home life better, which drove them to constantly develop innovative home appliances worldwide.
