Sebastian Vettel sped into his third straight win in Monza
Italy, September 8 – Over in Monza, Sebastian
Vettel was blessed with another perfect weekend, scoring two 40’s. It puts him
25 less than Ayrton Senna’s career poles, and 28 short of Michael Schumacher,
but at just 26 years old, it’s likely just a matter of time for him to match
those achievements.
Vettel made good use of his pole
position, launching off the line flawlessly and employing a one-stop strategy
to distance himself from the pack. Despite Fernando Alonso’s best efforts, he
couldn’t stop the young German, having to settle for second, just ahead of Red
Bull’s Mark Webber. This victory marks the fortieth for the Red Bull team.
