NutriAsia and Papa team up with DepEd to teach students about proper nutrition

School children from Regions I, X, XI, and the Cordillera Administrative Region received DepEd workbooks and Papa products for a truly unique learning experience!

Proper diet and nutrition are crucial in young children’s formative years. These foster proper development for children, leading to good health, intelligence, and behavior, thus giving them better chances in succeeding later in life.

In light of this, NutriAsia and Papa forged a partnership with both Marylindbert International and the Department of Education (DepEd) for school year 2020-2021, the Pinggang Pinoy Pina-Sweet Sarap Comprehensive School Program. It is a special module that teaches the importance of having the right diet and nutrition. Powered by Papa Banana Catsup and Papa Spaghetti Pack, the program aims to educate Grade 1 and 2 Filipino students about how keeping a good diet with the right nutrition leads to proper and healthy development.

UFC Celebrates 50th Anniversary with Nagsasama-samang Sarap Short Film Competition

To celebrate its 50th year as part of every Filipino’s essential home cooking experience, UFC is hosting its first-ever UFC Reel Life: Nagsasama-samang Sarap Short Film Competition. The event will serve to shine a light on the prodigious talents of local filmmakers in creating inspiring and meaningful stories that Filipinos can relate to.

Through the years, generations of Filipinos have shown their resiliency and strength in the face of tremendous challenges. With this short film competition, we hope to provide a platform for stories that highlight the same positivity and hope that UFC has provided for the last 50 years.

All entries must creatively depict the enduring optimism and positivity of Filipinos from all ages in times of difficulty. These should also portray the integral role of UFC products in empowering Filipinos to create nagsasama-samang sarap moments every day.

‘Locally Blended Juice Drinks’ Keeps It Cool, Classy (And Juicy) At 31st Association of Southeast Asian Nations Summit

How would you introduce yourself to the world? The answer is short, but sweet: By keeping it cool, classy, and… juicy?
Yes, a cool, classy, and juicy introduction did actually happen when world leaders convened in Manila for the 31st Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) Summit. And tropical Philippines being the host country, one of the more heartwarming welcome gestures for the distinguished delegates was being served indigenous local fruit juices as refreshments.
Locally by Nutri Asia, the first quirky Filipino juice line made with uniquely indigenous local fruits, enthusiastically gave summit participants that included heads of state and journalists from different parts of the globe a taste of the homegrown goodness of local fruits cultivated in Philippine soil: Tamarind My Bell (tamarind), Pomelong & Lasting Love (pomelo), Save the Best for Siniguelast (siniguelas), Calamansi’z the Day (calamansi), Guyabano-Body But You (guyabano), Mangosteenie Minie Mo (mangosteen), and You’ve Dalandan It Again (dalandan).
