Infused with irreverent humor, “Cold Pursuit” sees Liam Neeson as Nels Coxman, a family man whose quiet life with his wife (Laura Dern) is upended following the mysterious death of their son. Nels’ search for justice turns into a vengeful hunt for Viking (Tom Bateman), a drug lord he believes is connected to the death. As one by one of Viking’s associates “disappear,” Nels goes from upstanding citizen to ice-cold vigilante, letting nothing — and no one — get in his way.

“TAKEN 3” takes weekend top spot at US box-office at $40.4 million - Now showing in (PHILIPPPINES) cinemas
Undisputedly the world’s most well-loved father and protector, the latest Liam Neeson (as Bryan Mills) starrer “Taken 3” from its highly successful franchise landed number one at the US box-office this weekend at $40.4 million with his particular set of skills – love for family and love for hunting down those who tried to take his family.
“Taken 3“ sees Bryan facing his biggest challenge ever, as he deals with the aftershocks of his ex-wife’s murder, while evading pursuit from several law enforcement agencies, hunting down the real killers, and most of all, protecting his daughter Kim. “What makes TAKEN 3 a quintessential Taken movie is that, at its heart, it’s still about Bryan Mills doing everything in his power to save his family,” says Neeson. “That’s why these films resonate with a global audience, because at their core, they are about the love and sanctity of family and the lengths we’ll go to protect that.”

“Taken 3’s” gripping and fantastic action sequence brings Bryan to track down the real killers of a murder that he is being framed of. Director Olivier Megaton smashes Bryan Mills and his enemies into breathless action scenes when Mills’ long-awaited reconciliation with his ex-wife Lenore (Famke Janssen) is tragically cut short when she is murdered. Mills, overtaken with anger, goes on the run for justice to prove his innocence and trace the mastermind behind his ex-wife’s murder. With the CIA, FBI and police all in hot pursuit, for the last time, he channels his rage to protect the one remaining important thing left in his life: his daughter, Kim (Maggie Grace).

MILA KUNIS VS. JAMES FRANCO FOR CHILD CUSTODY IN “THIRD PERSON”
Award-winning director Paul Haggis’ latest romantic thriller “Third Person” follows the journeys of three sets of couple at three different stages of a relationship set at the backdrop of Paris, Rome and New York. Julia is caught in a custody battle for her 6-year old son with her ex-husband Rick played by James Franco, who is a famous New York artist. With her support cut off and her legal costs ruinous, Julia’s lawyer Theresa (Maria Bello) has secured Julia one final chance to change the court’s mind and be reunited with the child she loves. Julia’s sole motivation in life is to gain joint custody of her son but her fragile psychological state and the circumstances of her marriage break-up make that a big challenge.

Liam Neeson's Dangerous Affair with the "Third Person"
The
idea for “Third Person” started within days of finishing shooting The Next
Three Days, Haggis’s last film. It began
with a series of conversations between Paul and actress Moran Atias, who
suggested Paul should write a multi-plotline film about love and relationships.
Shared stories and painful and joyous anecdotes about love and relationships
turned into fiction over the next months as the characters took form and the
stories slowly found shape. Paul found
this the most challenging of his screenplays “because I wrote it all wrong,
from the inside out. I let the
characters tell me where the story was going, and often they just wouldn’t
speak to me – or worse, they lied to me” he said with a wry smile.
