Directed by Neil Nightingale and Barry Cook, “Walking with Dinosaurs: The 3D Movie” was inspired by the very latest discoveries in paleontology as well as technological breakthroughs. It presents audiences with the most realistic depiction of dinosaurs ever seen.  A compelling family adventure and coming of age story, “Walking with Dinosaurs” tells the story of Patchi (voiced by Justin Long), a determined little Pachyrhinosaurus with a hole in his frill, who sets off with his family on a journey of survival.

               

The film blends a gripping adventure with a story about family and friendship.  Patchi encounters the lovely Juniper, a female Pachyrhinosaurus from another herd and there is an immediate connection, which develops into a close bond. But it is unlikely that the pair will be able to stay together because of herd protocol, which means that Juniper won’t be able to choose her own mate. Other fascinating creatures in the film include pterosaurs, gigantic flying reptiles that once soared through Earth’s skies, and Edmontosaurus, huge duck billed dinosaurs.

Going the Distance... movie review

Erin's wry wit and unfiltered frankness charm newly single Garrett over beer, bar trivia and breakfast the next morning. Their chemistry sparks a full-fledged summer fling, but neither expects it to last once Erin heads home to San Francisco and Garrett stays behind for his job in New York City. But when six weeks of romping through the city inadvertently become meaningful, neither is sure they want it to end. And while Garrett's friends, Box and Dan, joke about his pre-flight calorie-cutting and his full-time relationship with his cell phone, they don't like losing their best drinking buddy to yet another rocky romance. 

At the same time, Erin's high-strung, overprotective married sister, Corrine, wants to keep Erin from heading down an all-too-familiar road. But despite the opposite coasts, the nay-saying friends and family, and a few unexpected temptations, the couple just might have found something like love, and with the help of a lot of texting, sexting and late-night phone calls, they might actually go the distance.

This movie is an example of why it is not recommended to keep a long distance relationship, yet on the contrary this is also the perfect example why it is worth going the distance and continue to have that next to impossible relationship.  Yes you may have heard of lucky couples who did make it through the tough times of having a long distance relationship, survived it and lived on as a couple to tell you that it is possible.

The concept of the movie is very simple, yet its simplicity has drawn me deeper into the movie and indeed made me fell for it.  Drew and Justin have great chemistry, since they were formally a couple before they broke up last July.

This is definitely a love story, and definitely a comedy film you will always be reminiscing when you get old... even though this film is a couple's film, I do believe single men and women should also give it a shot and watch it with your friends, as it can make you believe that there is love out there for you and for everyone.  It may not be the right time, or the right person now, but believe and he or she will come for you.

Remember all things come to those who wait.  And watching this flick made me a believer.  Go on and watch, and give your heart and mind something to believe in, LOVE.
