JobStreet bags two awards at the 19th Philippine Quill Awards

JobStreet once again proves its industry leadership as the country’s top online job portal and career partner as they recently bagged two awards at the esteemed 19th IABC Philippine Quill Awards.

This year, the company secured recognitions for its entries Going Hyperlocal: JobStreet's Microsite Launch under Marketing and Brand Communication Category; and COVIDCOMMS 2021: Boosting the Job Market through JobStreet’s Government Virtual Career Fairs under Government Relations Category. 

Aiming to help boost the job market in provinces, the campaign “Going Hyperlocal '' introduced local employment opportunities in Cebu, Iloilo, and Davao with helpful guides and resources written in their respective dialect through a dedicated microsite platform. This initiative allowed province-based hirers to easily connect with nearby candidates and likewise encourage job seekers in finding jobs that matter in their locality to help decongest Metro Manila during the pandemic.

PRSP Invites Students and their Schools to Join the First-Ever Hack Sprint Edition of Students’ Grand Prix

After successfully concluding its Students' PR Con last November, the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) is now set for its second leg of this year's Students' PR Congress with the Students' Grand Prix Hack Sprint Edition.

Being the first hack sprint edition of PRSP's annual student event and competition, the upcoming Students' Grand Prix will be fully virtual and students from all over the country can participate. 

The event will be divided into three phases. Phase 1, the Nationwide Selection, invites students (1 team per school comprised of 3 members) to submit a position paper about "The Great Resignation", a topic provided by Jobstreet Philippines, the Platinum Sponsor for Students' Grand Prix. Pasig City, JobStreet seal partnership to empower employers and rebuild careers among jobseekers

 

The City Government of Pasig and leading online job portal JobStreet officially sealed their partnership that seeks to continue empowering jobseekers and providing jobs that matter to Pasigueños amid the pandemic.

This was done through a virtual ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), led by Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto and JobStreet Philippines Country Manager Philip Gioca.

Under the MOU, new and existing Pasig-based employers are entitled to free monthly job posting credits on JobStreet. This initiative, in collaboration with Pasig’s Public Employment Service Office, aims to help employers find the right candidates through JobStreet that has a large pool of jobseekers. The initiative will run for the next three years.
