What's Cooking at Mercato Centrale?

There’s always something fun and happening at the Mercato Centrale.  Summer brings the freshest seasonal produce and the yummiest food finds right to the heart of Bonifacio Global City.  The market is bustling with families looking for fun activities with their children, chefs shopping for fresh and hard-to-find ingredients, food-tripping barkadas, runners having their Jam Food’s Best Angus Tapa Ever breakfasts and BGC residents grabbing mouth-watering burgers by Big Bob’s and Classic Roast’s peking duck meals  at the piazza!  Beating the summer heat has never been this fun!  Cool selections such as premium mochi ice cream by Mochiko, homemade artisan ice cream by Merry Moo, ice-cold drinks, mini cupcakes bursting with flavor from Baked By Anita, delectable donut burgers made popular by Offbeat Kitchen, Homemade Raviolis, and premium pies by Tina’s Pie Outlet make Mercato Centrale the ultimate food haunt.
Last weekend, fifteen of the most popular merchants in Mercato have staged the first ever Mercato Favorites Weekend Treat.  It’s their biggest blowout yet, as the 15 Certified Mercato Favorite Merchants doled out exciting deals and whopping discounts!  Add to that, a bloggers’ contest and a facebook home partner promo.    Highlights of the market include Simply Pie’s extremely flavorful Mini Quiches, Pan De Bagnet by Bale Dutung, the finest bespoke chocolates from Risa, Plants versus Zombie cupcakes from Little “Miss” OC’s Kitchen, crispy fish and chips by Chuck’s Grubberie and the crowd favorite- Manang’s Chicken!

There’s always a different activity going on at Mercato Centrale- a free photo booth one weekend, an artist who will make free sketches of you, cooking demos, and the new and exciting “Tweetups” where you can win amazing goodies!  No wonder people keep coming back!  No wonder people keep coming back!
Join the fun at Mercato Centrale every Saturday and Sundays from 7am to 2pm.  Expect more from the Mercato Favorites too as they cook up more creative ways to heat up, or cool down, your weekend in more ways than one!
