G Fair will run on September 20 and 21 from 10 am to 9 pm at the BGC Amphitheater as part of Globe’s month-long G Day celebration.

Gift Local 2022: Globe Business helps MSMEs achieve success one gift at a time

 

For the country’s micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), the Christmas season presents opportunities as Filipinos celebrate the holidays this year with greater freedom to go out, get together, and of course, shop!

It is also that time of the year when entrepreneurs face the most challenges: from tracking and fulfilling orders to managing logistics and keeping inventory. This is why since 2017, Globe Business has been hosting its annual Christmas tradition Gift Local to advocate its support for local businesses.

Gift Local aims to help MSMEs achieve success one gift at a time through giving them the opportunity to reach a wider market and showcase curated products from small businesses.

Over 1,000 students, teachers in Isabela City receive cyber wellness training from Globe

 

More than 1,000 students and teachers in Isabela City received training on how to be safer online as they journey along distance learning, through Globe’s Digital Thumbprint Program (DTP). The program further builds cyber wellness awareness among members of the academe through its wide network of partner schools.  

Globe acknowledges the need to continuously impart lessons on cybersecurity to the education sector to enable students, teachers, and parents to identify, address, and avoid the risks present in the digital space. 

In line with this, Globe’s small, medium enterprise (SME) arm, Globe Business, partnered with the Supreme Student Council Federation of Isabela State University System in delivering the DTP modules to more than 1,000 students over Facebook Live to promote responsible internet use.
