Filinvest City’s green urban planning—where Philippine CBD should be heading

In the early 1990s, Andrew Gotianun Sr. saw there could be more to a grazing ground for livestock in Alabang.

His company, Filinvest, won the bid over the 244-hectare Alabang stock farm and transformed it into his vision of a complete environment conducive to meeting the demands of global businesses and enriching the lives of those working and residing in the city. With that vision, the Filinvest City masterplan—one that is sustainable, future-ready and responsive to the needs of an ever-changing metropolis—was drawn up.

A luxury home perfect for family bonding moments

They say home is where the heart is—where bonding moments with your family are made memorable and precious time with your children are cherished. This is what the Filigree team, makers of Botanika Nature Residences, a top end low density residential enclave in Filinvest City, had in mind, anticipating every family’s varying lifestyle needs by providing features and amenities that create enduring ties and bring them closer.

In planning Botanika Nature Residences, a special space has been set aside exclusively for the kids and even for the kids-at-heart. Thus, the kids play area where children can freely and safely romp around is an essential part of Botanika’s list of amenities, deliberately designed to provide families a place of recreation right at their doorstep.

Filinvest City brings a uniquely-designed Marian Chapel to Alabang

Further bolstering the modern metropolis status of Filinvest City in Alabang is a uniquely-designed Marian Chapel in River Park, Festival Alabang, which will provide residents and visitors a place where they can pray and reflect. Set amidst lush greeneries, the chapel will be situated at a hill, which is considered a sacred place in Christianity, and will be fronting by a river, giving it a very calming atmosphere. Designed by Hiroshi Nakamura & NAP Architects, the Marian Chapel’s architectural structure is inspired by the white lily.

Completing an important milestone in its construction, Filinvest executives recently gathered at the River Park for the first pouring event.
