AXN Welcomes Judges David Foster, Anggun and Jay Park to a New Season of Asia’s Got Talent

Sony Pictures Television (SPT) Networks, Asia announced today that celebrity judges David Foster, Anggun and Jay Park will return to the judges’ table for a sizzling third season of the record-breaking Asia’s Got Talent on its flagship channel, AXN. The dynamic trio have arrived in Singapore to start filming the series’ first five episodes.

“David, Anggun and Jay are a fantastic team and we’re delighted to welcome them back for season 3. Sony Pictures Television Networks (SPTN), in partnership with the United Nations Foundation, today announced that internationally renowned musical artist Anggun has been named global judge for the Picture This Festival for the Planet (www.sonypicturethis.com), a short-film competition for emerging filmmakers, everyday storytellers and changemakers worldwide to showcase the positive future they see for our planet. Also joining an esteemed list of judges announced in the past several weeks are YouTube vloggers Damon and Jo, who will serve as the first and only digital-native judges for the festival.

Anggun, a World Music Award winning artist whose single What We Remember is currently on the Billboard Dance Charts in the US, is a judge on the hit-rated series, “Asia’s Got Talent,” and United Nations Goodwill Ambassador (2009-2017).

A Standing Ovation For Asia’s Got Talent Season 2 Premiere

The premiere of AXN’s highly anticipated Asia’s Got Talent Season 2 topped ratings among all regional Pay TV channels in the Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore collectively during the show’s debut on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 8:30pm.

Billed as the biggest talent competition in the world, Asia’s Got Talent features some of the region’s most breathtaking, jaw-dropping, and mind-blowing performing artists competing for the coveted winning title and a USD100,000 grand prize. The premiere episode was a kaleidoscope of quirky characters and stunning talents, with many acts winning the hearts of judges David Foster, Anggun, and newcomer Jay Park. In a surprise twist, Jay was the first judge to push the Golden Buzzer for the Kyrgyz dance group ADEM whose animated performance racked up 10.2 million views on AXN Asia’s Facebook page in just four days.

Global Superstar Jay Park Joins David Foster and Anggun At The Judges’ Table on Asia’s Got Talent Season 2

AXN announced that international pop sensation Jay Park will join the judges’ table on the highly anticipated Asia’s Got Talent Season 2.

Jay, an award-winning, multi-platinum recording artist and savvy entrepreneur, CEO and founder of two successful record labels, will take the coveted hot seat alongside the show’s returning judges, the 16-time Grammy Award-winning music producer David Foster and internationally acclaimed singer and World Music Award winner Anggun.

The three judges, who arrived in Singapore today to start production of Asia’s Got Talent next week, will be tasked with judging hundreds of acts from 17 countries across the region.
