The song is co-produced by acclaimed young artists Tim Marquez and Zild, and written by raven himself
Angela Ken and raven, two of the most
promising singer-songwriters in the country, have recently linked up on a new
song that expresses the joy of feeling secure about one’s relationship and
wanting to make life-long plans with the person you love.
Aptly titled “Pangako,” the soaring
ballad finds the two Filipino artists exchanging vows of commitment with
earnestness that speaks to an entire generation of listeners—young or old, and
everything in between.
“It’s about being ready to love that special someone for a lifetime,” raven explains. According to the young bedroom pop act, the song was made for two committed individuals who are both on the same page, celebrating one another and having each other’s backs even in times of frailty.
