The realme ambassador opens up about breaking barriers in the industry and the importance of 5G in mobile gaming
As mobile gaming and esports continue to gain massive ground in the country, realme Philippines aims to strengthen its position in the industry by catering to the diverse needs of mobile gamers and streamers. With this goal in mind, the country’s no. 1 smartphone brand for Q1 2021 teamed up with cosplay icon, entrepreneur and gaming royalty Alodia Gosiengfiao to further empower the local gaming community to capture infinite possibilities.
Having been in the gaming and cosplay industry since her teenage years, Alodia has managed to break through barriers and cement her place in this fast-growing scene. “I’ve always had the mindset that gaming is and should be for everyone,” shares Alodia. “When I started out, there were people who would tend to ‘gatekeep’ the industry based on what or who they think gamers should be. But despite that, I stayed true to my core and focused on my craft because this is something I’m truly passionate about,” she adds.
