Where is the iPhone 5?

After all that has been said and done.  One question remains unanswered, where is the iPhone 5?  I was one with many fellow tech fanatics, at 1 AM (Manila time), getting hold of live streams to get the announcement that Apple is releasing a brand new iPhone.  And thus the announcement the iPhone 4S is out.

The iPhone 4S will come with the latest version of Apple’s mobile OS, iOS 5 which is packed with a wide range of new features, and it has the same A5 processor that can be found in the iPad 2, and according to Apple it is two times faster than the iPhone 4, with dual core graphics which is said to be seven times faster than the iPhone 4.  App makers should find this to their advantage and consumers can expect a better experience with the new iPhone 4S.

New features include HSDA+ which is supposedly 4G, has a new and fascinating 8MP camera. (Click here to sample the Iphone 4S camera), 1080p high-definition video recording, and Siri — a built-in, voice-activated virtual assistant.

After all those impressive features, Apple fans all over the world were not satisfied with what they have seen and heard.  Maybe Apple has come to a plateau and Android devices are finally catching up to the tech.  But I believe Apple has still something off their sleeves.  And maybe, just maybe wow us all with the next release of the new Iphone 5.

Apple also announced the release of the white Itouch coming October 12th for $199 for 8G model, $299 for the 16GB model and $399 for the 32GB model. iOS 5 will also be out Oct. 12.
