Historical Trivia: When The Peninsula opened its doors on September 14, 1976. The Lobby was the place to see and be seen, where it was said that one hadn’t quite “arrived” until one had dined in The Lobby. A lot has changed since but The Lobby is still where one is immediately enveloped by a warm welcome and made to feel entirely at home. Indeed it is this openness and warmth, so characteristic of the Filipino character, that sets the tone not just for every guest’s stay at the hotel but for every encounter beyond its walls.

And so to celebrate The Lobby's 35th birthday. The iconic Halo Halo Harana and the best selling Grilled Schueblig will be served to you for only P35.00. Yes P35.00 only from 12 noon to 12 midnight, a half-day engagement only on September 14, 2011.
The September 14, 2011 Lobby promotion will be strictly on a no-reservations and first-come/first- served basis. Added conditions to the promotion: 10% service charge and applicable government taxes will be added to the final bill; transactions will not accept marketing tie-up discounts, there will be no take-out; both items must be ordered and consumed at The Lobby, and orders will not be shared. And word of advise, expect long lines.
