Lifestyle TV hops on a worldwide journey through the Philippine cable premiere of Korean food hunt series “John Torode’s Korean Food Tour,” action-packed challenge show "50/50", and gastronomic event TV special “Around the World in Small Plates” this November.
“John Torode’s Korean Food Tour,” is a new ten-part food and travel series where Australian chef and Masterchef UK judge John Torode makes his way through the nation’s top 100 dishes in his travels to the mountains, the cities, the countryside and the coast. He also comes up with his versions of the oriental fare in his own kitchen in Gangnam, Seoul.
Dreaming of an all-expense paid getaway? “50/50” is a thrill-filled travel show where hosts Samantha Brown and Chris Grundy surprise unsuspecting strangers and offer them 50 hours of blissful sabbaticals worth up to $50,000! The only catch is they have to drop everything work, obligations, commitment and leave right at that very second.
Lifestyle also airs the TV special of the biennial gathering of top chefs, “Around the World in Small Plates,” recently held at 8 Rockwell in Makati City. Some of the most in demand chefs including JP Anglo, Tina Legarda, Robby Goco as well as Lifestyle’s very own, Chef Claude Tayag of "Chasing Flavors" and Chef Sandy Daza of "Casa Daza" of "Casa Daza" took guests on a global tour with exclusive off-the-menu dishes through this curated charity dinner event.
Lifestyle TV, a pioneer in local lifestyle programming, serves as a TV guide with a wealth of relevant and insightful content for the multi-faceted Filipino women. It balances a mix of acquired and locally produced programs that bare the ever-changing wellness, living and entertainment craves of its viewers.
