Lotus F1 team junior racer Marlon
Stockinger returned to the track to compete in the World Series by Renault 3.5
Series in Budapest, finishing the three consecutive weekend races in 7th
place and a 2nd place finish in the rookie podium.
The World Series by Renault consists of
four championships primarily supplied by MICHELIN tires.
Stockinger is a Filipino-Swiss junior team
driver for the Lotus F1 team who was also recently designated as driver of the
Lotus team Formula 1 car in the well-received Manila Speed Show.
As much as 2400 tires for 120 cars are
required for each of the four racing series with logistics in different
countries and weather conditions. Six transporters distribute the rubber tires
from a Michelin facility in Clemont-Ferrand to the Formula Renault 3.5 Series,
Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup, Eurocup Megané Trophy
and the Clio Cup. A large selection of tires for different features and driving
conditions are allocated for the World Series by Renault races.
