Planners for memorable weddings

Members of the Philippine Association of Wedding Planners (PAWP) were recently treated to historical and gastronomic delights during a luncheon event at Palacio de Memoria, a superbly restored pre-war mansion that survived the 1945 Battle of Manila and now one of the premier wedding and events venues in Metro Manila.

They were also shown around the vast, sprawling gardens of the Palacio, where a huge crystal-clear tent can be erected for beautiful alfresco weddings. Other outdoor attractions include the Mosphil Lounge and the Palacio’s own chapel-museum which also houses religious antiquities from different centuries.

Present during the luncheon were (fifth from left) Palacio de Memoria general manager Camille Lhuillier and (L-R) Monchet y Compania curator Jose Ramon “Monchet” Olives, PAWP asst. secretary John Llona, board member Angel Ortiz, president Majelle Magpantay, board member Liza Alviedo, board chairperson Celia Cunanan, member Ralph Jason Copiaco, and board member Marex Gaba.
