Black Arrow Express increases shipment volume capacity by investing in a bigger facility

The warehouse aims to integrate the first a fully-automated sorting system by early 2019

Black Arrow Express, last mile and consumer delivery firm under total logistics provider AAI, today announced that it is moving to a bigger warehouse facility located at West Service Road, ParaƱaque, to cater to the increasing shipment volume from eCommerce orders.

The space, referred to as the Black Arrow Express West Service Road Corporate HQ (BAE WSR Corporate HQ), is a 3-storey building with a total enclosed area space of 18,200 square meters and 7,500 square meters of open area for parking. It is five times their existing facility, and was designed and built specifically for express and eCommerce. The first floor houses sorting and dispatching. The second floor is for warehousing, while the third floor is for executive offices and employee wellness.

The BAE WSR Corporate HQ aims to address the growing volume of deliveries, while improving operational efficiencies, which includes faster sorting and deliveries for products housed within the warehouse. The facility also has direct ramp access to the second floor for faster loading of packages and parcels in trucks and for riders. The proximity to the airport and accessibility to major highways will also vastly improve transit to provinces.

“This move is just the first step towards bigger things planned for Black Arrow Express,” says Allan Brizuela, President of Black Arrow Express. “By 2019, we aim to house the first fully automated cross-sorter, which will improve operations even further,” he adds.

Unlike other logistics companies that focus their services within Metro Manila, Black Arrow Express caters to numerous areas all over the country. The company aims to provide a more convenient way for all Filipinos to send and receive packages nationwide.

“We are fully committed to improving the lives of Filipinos by providing a reliable and cost-effective service,” says Brizuela. “With our new facility, we will be looking into increasing our customer support and satisfaction.”

Founded in 2016, Black Arrow Express is currently available in the Philippines. They are targeting to expand their courier services to other Southeast Asian economies by 2019. For more information, visit www.blackarrow.express or facebook.com/blackarrowexpress.
