Summit Water is Official Hydration Partner of Cobra Ironman 70.3

It’s all systems go in Cebu, as over 2,000 participants from 33 countries in 5 continents set to arrive for the fifth Cobra Ironman 70.3 to be held on August 5. Participants are vying for a chance to qualify for the Ironman World Championships in Las Vegas Nevada to be held a month later. For the fifth consecutive year, Summit Natural Drinking Water will be the official hydration partner of the entire leg of the race.

The route will begin at Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort and Spa, where athletes have to complete a 1.2-mile swim in open water. They will then traverse Lapu-Lapu, Mandaue, Cebu, and Talisay Cities for the 56-mile bike leg, finishing up at Punta Engaño for a 13.1-mile run.

Hydration stations will be set up along the track by Summit Natural Drinking Water at 17 intervals along the swim-bike-run race course. The brand has been the official hydration partner of Cobra Ironman since the first sanctioned competition held in 2008.

Says Angelie Ong, Senior Brand Manager for Summit Natural Drinking Water, “Our commitment to making the Cobra Ironman 70.3 a success matches the triathletes’ commitment to seeing the race through – all 70.3 miles of it.
