Good drama loves company at beTV


Drop Dead Diva’s Jane (Brooke Elliott) is a plus-sized attorney whose body becomes home to the spirit of an aspiring model named Deb, when their souls crossed paths at death. Given a second chance at life, Deb comes to terms with her new life as Jane, and gradually learns that body size is not the only definition of beauty. The romantic comedy follows Deb as Jane struggling with her new-found intelligence and her feelings for Deb’s fiancé Grayson (Jackson Hurst, A Bird of the Air). In this 4th Season, Jane tries to put her past behind and move on with her new beau Owen (Lex Medlin, Southland), but former flame Grayson steps back into the picture. So, after three seasons of Jane running after Grayson, this time, Grayson is the one pining for Jane. How will this love triangle end? One thing’s for sure, wedding bells will ring for Jane and one lucky man by the end of Drop Dead Diva Season 4. With a new addition to the cast, the series will get even more interesting starting October 1, airing on weeknights at 8:30pm, first and exclusively on beTV.


New on beTV is police procedural drama NYC22 that follows the lives of six diverse NYPD rookies patrolling the gritty streets of upper Manhattan. Demanding Field Training Officer Daniel "Yoda" Dean (Terry Kinney), a case-hardened, unsentimental veteran of the police force who emphasizes basics and holds each cop accountable for their actions, together with Sergeant Terry Howard (Felix Solis), a no-nonsense plainclothes officer from the Gang Intel Unit, trains six rookies on how to keep the gangbangers at bay. With unique backgrounds, personalities and reasons for being on the force, Jennifer "White House" Perry (Leelee Sobieski), Ray"Lazarus" Harper (Adam Goldberg ), Tonya Sanchez (Judy Marte), Kenny McClaren (Stark Sands) and Jayson "Jackpot" Toney (Harold House Moore)will have their share of rookie mistakes while they figure out how to relate to their boss, each other and the people they swore to protect. Follow them in NYC 22 on weeknights at 9:20 pm starting October 5, first and exclusively on beTV.
