Get ready for more immersive 3D Films

FOX’S LATEST REEL 3D

From the studio that brought the world “Avatar,” the first truly immersive 3D experience - 20th Century Fox brings the audience deeper into reel 3D in “The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader,” “Gullivers’s Travels,” “Darkest Hour” and “Rio.”

Return to the magic of C.S. Lewis’ beloved world in “The Chronicles Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader”  with Lucy and Edmund Pevensie.  Together with their cousin Eustace, they travel with King Caspian via the fantastic Narnian ship, the Dawn Treader.  Their mission wherein the fate of Narnia rests takes them to mysterious islands and a river that turns to gold, to fateful confrontations with magical creatures and sinister enemies, and to a reunion with their friend and protector, the “Great Lion” Aslan.  Directed by Michael Apted, “Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader” boards the returning cast of Ben Barnes, Skandar Keynes and Georgie Henley with Liam Neeson as the voice of Aslan.

Jack Black brings hilarious fun in the re-imagining of Jonathan Swift’s classic novel “Gulliver’s Travels.”   Black’s Gulliver is an inspiring writer in a newspaper mailroom who has a secret crush on his editor (played by Amanda Peet).  Hoping to impress his boss, he accepts a challenging assignment about The Bermuda Triangle that takes him on a dangerous seafaring adventure.  After a tumultuous trip across seas and oceans, he finds himself washed up on the shores of Lilliput where he is enslaved by its tiny inhabitants.  Rob Letterman directs this richly imaginative movie that also features Jason Segel, Emily Blunt and Billy Connolly.

“The Darkest Hour” is set to delight 3d buffs as it brings the experience anew into the thrilling realm of sci-fi adventure. The movie centers on five people in Moscow who find themselves stranded and fighting to survive in the wake of a devastating alien attack.  The movie stars Emile Hirsch, Rachael Taylor and Olivia Thirlby directed by Chris Gorak and produced by Timur Bekmambetov (“Wanted”).

Blue Sky Studios, the makers of “Ice Age” flies higher in its latest animation comedy “Rio.”  Starring the voices of Neil Patrick Harris, Anne Hathaway, Rodrigo Santoro, George Lopez and Jake T. Austin, “Rio” centers on Blu, a rare macaw who thinks he is the last of his kind. When Blu discovers there's another — and that she's a she — he leaves the comforts of his cage in small town Minnesota and heads to Rio de Janeiro. But it's far from love at first sight between the domesticated and flight-challenged Blu and the fiercely independent, high-flying female, Jewel. Unexpectedly thrown together, they embark on an adventure of a lifetime, where they learn about friendship, love, courage, and being open to life's many wonders.
