November 1, All Saint's day is a day off our busy schedules to visit our departed loved ones. May it be the temple where we left the urns, the memorial parks where we built their estates, or our homes where we are one in reminiscing and praying for the souls of our dearly departed. May you have peace of mind and pray to God for guidance and strength, and let us all be safe.
Here are some re-routes for cities that have cemeteries so that you may follow the flow and hope for lesser traffic.
On the 5th leg of The Amazing Race Asia season 4, teams travel to my home country, The Philippines. Going to Legazpi, visiting famous tourist sites such as the Mayon Volcano, which boasts of its near perfect cone, the Cagsawa Ruins, the city’s best view deck Lignon Hill and pit stopping on one of the most beautiful resorts in the Philippines - Misibis Bay Resort on Cagraray Island.
We were very lucky to have been chosen to witness the latest episode of The Amazing Race Asia on AXN, with our very own Philippine Team, the Richards and Lani. Had a celebration blast at National Sports Grill in Greenbelt, Makati. This leg of the race really heated things up and catapulted Team Philippines' the Richards to the top spot of this leg. Lani and Jess catch up big time as well.
It was a night or great food, great people, a lot of booze and whole night of fun and excitement
And what more can take your breath away than Lani,
she is an angel. Very sweet and really nice.
Can I apply for the fan club now?
Thanks to the Richards, Ms. Lani and AXN Asia for making the event such a wonderful party for us. We would also like to extend our appreciation and thanks to the City of Legazpi and Misibis Bay Resort for extending their welcoming hands to The Amazing Race Asia contestants, and for hosting the party us bloggers, we can't thank them enough. It just goes to show how beautiful the Philippines is with the sights and sounds of the City of Legazpi and the fabulous and world-class Misibis Bay Resort, definitely one of the most beautiful nature spots to explore in the world.
Be sure to catch The Amazing Race Asia Season 4 exclusively on AXN every Thursday at 10PM (HK time). And root for team Philippines!
In line with this event why don't you join in for a day of fun

Just in case you were out there somewhere and have not heard of the SSI (Store Specialists Inc.) Super Sale, Powered by Citibank happened last Oct. 21-24, 2010 at the PICC Forum tent. Here are some of the pictures I have taken of my loot... not that I was able to go, but my wife was there 3 days in a row!! So, she was quite a handful picking for me. And was it a steal.
Springfield sweater from P 2,850 - bought it at only P 970.
Zara Man Jacket with knitted back and sleeves from a whopping
P 5,750 - bought it at P 745
Zara leather boots of my sister from P3,650 - bought at only P 495
There was quite a lot to shop around, but since it was a big sale, everybody was lining up and everybody wanted to buy something. So it was getting quite crowded as well. My wife got a Paul and Joe lipstick from the original price of P 1,600, bought it for P 750. Overall it was a wonderful way to start spending for Christmas presents as well. And my jacket will be used for my trip to Taiwan by the end of the year.
Now if you want to see how and what was going on those days I suggest you take a look at Animetric's World pictures and blog entry, and to showcase her loot as well. Since all this happened last week, I suggest you keep a look out for the next SSI Sale, who knows it might just be a few months ahead.

Need to find Surplus equipments and furnitures in Manila? Admittedly all things and materials are getting more costly nowadays, so even though we would still want to buy stuff that are brand new, price is and will always be a factor. Most of the time, we end up buying low quality goods because we don't have the funds to buy the better quality ones.
One thing for sure, Imported items in Manila are definitely gaining attention in the local market. Yes I admit I have been to not one but two or more shops, looking for imported surplus electronic items and yes computer stuff as well. We are now at a stage where companies need to grow bigger and expand more to better serve their customers, but what does this tantamount to? Money to spend on additional office equipment, additional computers and printers as well. Brand new ones are always the best option, but when the price factor comes into play, we need to have options. We need to find refurbished computers in Manila to solve our computer needs.
And where do find it all in one place? In HMR Philippines. HMR Philippines is a retailer of quality, branded, imported surplus products from Australia and the US. Their product lines include the following:

Looking good isn’t only defined by the way you dress up and carry yourself. When a man smells good, he leaves women intrigued; scent can stimulate a sensory experience to stir their interest and tickle their imagination; in turn, their response to him can boost his esteem and confidence.
Inspired by the sensual and intoxicating fragrances that women like on a man, AXE has continued to shape men’s fashion and lifestyle attitudes by coming up with a constant stream of new ideas to keep guys a step ahead in the mating game. AXE arms men with irresistible fragrances to go with good looks and a stylish appeal. Proving that indeed “first impressions last,” a good scent on a well-dressed man can be his essential fashion ace-in-the-hole.
Nothing could be more stimulating than being at your best, just like the good-looking men who will be headlining the AXE Show in the upcoming Philippine Fashion Week Spring and Summer 2011.
The week-long event, which will run from October 26 to 31will mark AXE’s debut in the Philippine Fashion Week. It also marks the first time that a renowned fragrance brand has participated in the prestigious event.
