Teen Rom-Com “LOVE, ROSIE” to finally open January 8 in local cinemas

Love, Rosie to finally open January 8th

The wait is almost over, as “Love, Rosie” opens up in cinemas this January 8 in local (Phils.) cinemas where two of today’s most loved young actors Lily Collins and Sam Claflin star as Rosie and Alex who have been best friends since they were five. When it comes to love, life and making the right choices, these two are their own worst enemies.  But one awkward turn at 18, one missed opportunity...and life sends them hurling in different directions. Could they be the one true love for each other after all?

Based on Cecelia Ahern’s bestselling novel “Where Rainbows End”, LOVE, ROSIE is a sassy, heart-warming, and utterly modern comedy-of-errors tale posing the ultimate question: Do we really only get one shot at true love?  “How do you adapt a book that’s all texts and emails,” says producer Simon Brooks of one of the project’s biggest challenges – the novel’s epistolary structure, composed around the emails, letters and text messages which Alex and Rosie exchange. “How do you make that into a movie?”

One explosive finale will end it all in the non-stop, catch-your-breath action thriller “Taken 3” starring Liam Neeson as Bryan Mills, as-covert agent Bryan Mills forced to step out of retirement to save his family using the extraordinary set of skills that only he possesses.

From Red Sea to London's Red Carpet – “EXODUS: GODS AND KINGS” Premiere photos

After traversing  mountains, crossing the Red Sea and dodging spears in the most anticipated Biblical epic of the year,   “Exodus: Gods and Kings,” Christian Bale walked the Red Carpet in the recently concluded premiere night in London along with director Ridley Scott and cast of the movie.

Status: Relationship complicated in romantic comedy “PLAYING IT COOL”

In today’s status driven world, “Playing It Cool” comes at the most opportune of time with a very simple, classic yet relatable theme on love – Chris Evans plays a writer, disillusioned by love, was suddenly tasked by his publisher to write a rom-com novel.  Not only does it hamper his next book’s publication, but for one who has been avoiding commitments for so long, he’s even more surprised to realize that he’s falling head over heels to someone (Michelle Monaghan) who  is already engaged.

This generation’s signature story, “Playing It Cool,” written by Chris Schafer and Paul Vicknair have penned a story that will move audiences around the world – a material so cinematic that it demands to be translated into film.
With their debut screenplay, telling an artful love story in a style so fresh and unique it will undoubtedly be embraced by young audiences around the world as their story – the love story of our time.

At its core, the tale is simple and timeless. A young man, disillusioned by love, meets a breathtaking young woman who turns his world upside down. Narrated by our protagonist, the story captures in equal parts the heartache and comedy that comes from being young and in love, and through a series of well crafted vignettes that are scattered throughout the film, we’re offered glimpses into the mind of our hero as he resolves his emotions through these highly imaginative and comedic escapes from reality.

Producer Nicolas Chartier couldn’t be more excited to release the film, “I love this film and am honored to have the opportunity to produce it alongside my partners. Our audiences demand compelling storytelling, fresh thinking, and above all, authenticity. Playing It Cool delivers on all of these levels – creating an honest portrayal of the difficulty of love and life, told in a way that leaves all of us feeling refreshed and ultimately…optimistic.”

11-year old Isaac Andrews stars alongside Christian Bale in Ridley Scott's “EXODUS: GODS AND KINGS”

As more filmmakers, producers and actors collaborate to revitalize stories from the bestselling book of all time all over the world translated into all languages - critics and movie audience find themselves in a great divide on each and every (filmed) interpretation of a story lifted from the Bible.

Despite questions circling Ridley Scott’s upcoming “Exodus: Gods and Kings,”  Rotten Tomatoes’ Audience Score of the film reveals a high 97% rating in terms of anticipation from  those very eager to watch the film.  Likewise, early reviews reflect some of the critics’ positive take such that from Variety’s Justin Chang who says that “What’s remarkable about Scott’s genuinely imposing Old Testament psychodrama is the degree to which he succeeds in conjuring a mighty and momentous spectacle — one that, for sheer astonishment, rivals any of the lavish visions of ancient times the director has given us — while turning his own skepticism into a potent source of moral and dramatic conflict.”

Best Selling Romantic Author Cecelia Ahern's “WHERE RAINBOWS END” adapted to film entitled “LOVE, ROSIE”

Do we really only get one shot at true love? In “Love, Rosie” -Rosie and Alex have been best friends since they were 5, so they couldn’t possibly be right for one another...or could they? When it comes to love, life and making the right choices, these two are their own worst enemies.  One awkward turn at 18, one missed opportunity...and life sends them hurling in different directions. But somehow, across time, space and different continents, the tie that binds them cannot be undone – despite unwanted pregnancies, disastrous love affairs, marriage, infidelity and divorce. Will they find their way back to one another, or will it be too late?
